Travel Insurance
Adventure Associates highly recommends you purchase travel insurance. We have reviewed several of the major travel insurance plans and feel that and Travelex best suits the needs of our trip participants. Travelex offers several options, they’re comprehensive, and comparatively speaking, economical. Travel insurance protects you and your money from late cancellations, accidents or illness in remote areas, emergency evacuation, loss of baggage, airline flight changes and other unexpected delays. Travelex will cover “pre-existing” conditions if you purchase trip cancellation within 21 days of you initial deposit (tour or air line ticket). This policy is also state specific. For policies on international terrorist incidents and for medical “pre-existing” conditions please ask about the policy for the state in which you reside.
Travelex Insurance Services travel protection plans help to protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.
Why Should I buy Travel Insurance?
The time and expense that you have put into planning and paying for your trip warrant protection through the purchase of travel insurance. Our primary interest in the Travelex packages is that they cover “emergency medical transportation” – this is important when traveling and preparing for the unexpected. Emergency services are very costly. This coverage is very inexpensive in comparison. Nowadays with homeland and foreign security issues, flight cancellations, baggage handling, medical emergencies and other unexpected interruptions, it is wise to purchase this well-recommended travel coverage. Adventure Associates’ staff uses it for professional and personal travel.
